Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager with a positive attitude. Success in this role requires you to be collaborative, initiative driven and solution-oriented. Candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and must have a deep understanding of the Governance, Risk & Control Framework.


Qualification & Experience

We are looking at qualified Chartered Accountants with 7-10 years of experience in risk advisory, operational risk, compliance, internal control, and or project management related functions in the financial services or shared services industry. The candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of compliance (SOX/IFC), governance thereof, processes, and proficiency in risk management and control related practices. The ideal candidate should have highly analytical, management and communication skills.

Preference will be given to qualified Chartered Accountants or working professionals from BFSI. However, Audit, Risk, Compliance and Governance professionals with CA Intermediate, Cost Accountants and Master of Commerce with 10-15 years of diverse industry or reputed CA Audit Firm experience are also welcome.

Freelancers, with minimum commitment of 75-100 Hours per month, are also welcome to apply.

Role

Your role contributes to delivering our innovative products to our diverse customer base, and creating a strong technology adoption platform for the customers. The products will be part of our next generation Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Platform. You will ensure seamless experience to the product users and help increase our operational efficiency. You will collaborate with your colleagues to build a strong product and customer focus and ensure seamless execution of client delivery.

What you’ll be doing
  • Support the pre-sales and the sales team in articulating the customer queries pertaining to our products.
  • Conduct a preliminary assessment of the client requirements and share the necessary inputs with the sales team to strengthen the product offering.
  • Liaise with the clients to review their master data, ensure that their Process, Risk and Control Library is understood and correctly integrated in our system during the data migration process.
  • Collaborate with the client, our project manager and development team to effectively use your domain knowledge in building the product and processes.
  • Analyse the current product development & implementation processes. Re-engineer the same in coordination with the development team on an ongoing basis to build operational efficiency.
  • Work with internal cross functional teams to develop and design new products.
  • You will be responsible to manage and maintain the developed products and ensure our products are aligned with the changing regulations and the external environment.
  • Challenge the existing conventions and recommendation for improvements.
  • Review and refine on an ongoing basis the existing Audit, Risk & Compliance Tracking Dashboards for the Senior Management and audit scoring models and methodologies.
